Thursday, October 1

*4:00 PM – Brownwood Police received a report of fraud via telephone from a male complainant from New Jersey.  According to the report, two suspects have been identified.

Monday, October 5

* 8:57 AM – A Brown County Sheriff’s deputy was dispatched to a residence on N. Hwy 183 in regarding a domestic disturbance.  The complainant stated that her son had pushed her after a verbal argument, the report states.

*1:08 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 3100 block of Austin Avenue regarding debit/credit card abuse.  According to the report, the female complainant stated that an unknown suspect made unauthorized charges on her account.

*4:21 PM – A Brown County Sheriff’s deputy was dispatched to Vulcan Materials, located on County Road 234 in Brownwood regarding found property.   The deputy met with the plant supervisor who advised he had discovered a trailer on one of their lots, which did not belong to their company.  Further investigation was conducted and it was eventually discovered the trailer belong to a local electric company.

*Bangs Police arrested 33-year-old Eric Edward Babcock on a warrant related to the burglary of a building.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 51-year-old Warren James Bellinger, Jr. of Early on warrants related to failure o appear, speeding 10% above posted speed and violate driver’s license restrictions.

*Bangs Police arrested 23-year-old George Cummings of Houston on a Lubbock County warrant related to possession of a controlled substance penalty group 2 less than 1 gram.

*Brownwood Police arrested 31-year-old Leia Ann Keith of Bangs for assault causes bodily injury family violence.

*Early Police arrested 50-year-old Betty Jo Roe of Early for public intoxication.

Tuesday, October 6

*1:10 AM – A Brown County Sheriff’s deputy was called regarding a suspicious vehicle on N. US Hwy 183.  The deputy spoke with the owner of the vehicle and a report of unauthorized use of a motor vehicle was made.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 30-year-old Christopher Lee Taylor of Brownwood on warrants related to two counts of failure to appear, disregard stop sign, and driving while license invalid.

*Brownwood Police arrested 36-year-old Alton Dale Williams of Brownwood on a warrant related to a parole violation.
