Wednesday, October 3

*9:19am-Brownwood Police were called to the 600 block of W. Commerce regarding a suspicious person at the Stripes convenience store.   According to the report, the officer arrived to find a vehicle parked on the front west end of the store and made contact with the two occupants.    This call led to the arrest of the occupants, identified as 24-year-old Alfred John Alberes and 22-year-old  Justin Michael Eubanks, each charged with possession of a controlled substance penalty group 2A less than or equal to 2 ounces.

*9:39am-Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 2400 block of Monterrey regarding the burglary of a habitation.  According to the report, the complainant stated that a refrigerator and stove/oven had been stolen out of the residence overnight.  The complainant named a suspect and the investigation is continuing, the report states.

*12:08pm-Brownwood Police were dispatched to the Brownwood High School, 2100 Slayden Street, regarding criminal trespass.  According to the report, the officer made contact with two male subjects.  While running the subjects’ information, dispatch informed the officer that 17-year-old Jeffery Beck had a criminal trespass warning for all Brownwood ISD property and that the school wished to pursue criminal charges.  Beck was placed under arrest for criminal trespass.

*7:57pm-Brownwood Police were called to the 700 block of Avenue J regarding a noise complainant.  The call led to the arrest of 47-year-old Sandra Norrod for making alcohol available to minor.

*8:17pm-A Brownwood Police officer was parked in the 1900 block of Durham Avenue when he observed a pickup pull into the parking lot at Coggin Park near the Durham and Roselawn intersection.  The pickup then reversed and spun its wheels while accelerating, the report states.  The officer made a traffic stop on the pickup for reckless driving which led to the arrest of the driver 21-year-old Dontae Crawford for reckless driving and possession of marijuana less than 2 ounces in a drug free zone and 20-year-old Demory Wilson for interference with public duties.

*Brownwood Police received reports of found bicycles, one in the 2100 block of 9th Street and the 2500 block of Waco Street.  Neither bicycle was found to be stolen.  Both were taken to the BPD bicycle impound.

*Texas Department of Public Safety arrested 29-year-old Johnny Dedios Franco, Jr. for possession of marijuana less than 2 ounces in a drug free zone.

*Texas Department of Public Safety arrested 21-year-old Travis Joseph Lawson of Bangs for possession of marijuana in a drug free zone.

*Brownwood Police arrested 22-year-old Jacoby Martinez for driving while license invalid with previous convictions.

Thursday, October 4

*Early Police arrested 36-year-old Manuel Delarosa Rodriguez for driving while intoxicated 2nd.
