Law Enforcement arrests and reports released Monday, October 4, 2010.

Tuesday, September 28

*2:07pm-Brownwood Police were called to the 500 block of W. Commerce regarding forged checks.  The officer made contact with the complainant, an employee of the business.  Information was obtained and a report for forgery was filed.  No arrest had been made at the time of the report.

Friday, October 1

*8:46am-Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 3300 block of 2nd Street regarding criminal mischief.  The complainant had arrived home and noticed several windows had been shot with a BB gun.

*11:58am-Brownwood Police were called to the 600 block of 7th Street regarding criminal mischief.  The victim stated that two exterior windows, valued at approximately $500 were damaged.  The victim stated that sometime in the past month someone had shot two of his windows with a BB gun.

*3:00pm-Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 3000 block of Milam Drive, to the Corrine T. Smith Animal Shelter regarding an assault that had occurred.  Upon arrival the officer met with the victim who identified the suspect and stated that she would like to pursue charges against the suspect.  No arrest had been made at the time of the report.

*10:30pm – Brown County Sheriff’s deputy responded to the Brown County Jail regarding an inmate sneaking unknown drugs into a cell.  The inmate began suffering from complications related to taking the drugs and was taken to Brownwood Regional Medical Center for treatment. The inmate was later released and taken back to the jail.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 18-year-old Luis Gerardo Castaneda for Possession of Marijuana, less than 2 oz.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office was called to County Road 411 regarding a possible stolen bull.

Saturday, October 2

*1:24am- Police reports state, a Brownwood Police officer that was patrolling in the area of Adams and Clark Streets observed a male, later identified as 31-year-old Alejandro Suchil, walking down the street unsteadily.  Police reports stated that it was determined Suchil was intoxicated in a public place and a danger to himself and others.   Suchil was placed under arrest for Public Intoxication and transported to the Brown County Jail.

*3:30am- Reports state that a Brownwood Police officer was patrolling when he observed a vehicle run a stop sign at Avenue E & 11th Street.  The officer initiated a traffic stop in the 2000 block of Avenue E.  Upon making contact, the driver was identified as 23-year-old Christopher Bernard Williams.  After investigating, it was determined that Williams had a suspended driver’s license according to police reports.  He was subsequently arrested for Driving While License Invalid.

*7:36am-Brownwood Police were called to the 100 block of Southpark Drive regarding found property.  A bicycle was left behind at a business.  Information was collected and the bicycle was taken to BPD for safe keeping.

*8:21pm-Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 600 block of 5th Street regarding drugs or narcotics.  Police reports state that upon arrival, officers were flagged down by a subject identified as 34-year-old Michael Corey Pierson.  Investigation led to the arrest of Pierson for Public Intoxication.

*8:42pm-Brownwood Police were called to the 1600 block of Avenue E regarding a burglary.  The complainant stated someone had entered her home between 1:45am and 7:45am and stole $340 cash from her wallet.  There were no signs of forced entry into the residence.  The complainant does wish to pursue charges if a suspect is located.

*11:40pm-Brownwood Police were dispatched to 13th Street and Avenue E regarding a citizens’ dispute.  Reports state that an investigation led to the arrest of 20-year-old Courtney Michelle Hood for interfering with an emergency phone call.

*1:17pm- Brownwood Police were called to the 2000 block of Slayden regarding the theft of a bicycle valued at approximately $100.

*1:25pm-Brownwood Police spoke with a resident in the 2000 block of Slayden regarding found property.

*1:42am-Brownwood Police responded to the 1900 block of Coggin Avenue regarding an unwanted person.  After speaking with the complainant, a suspect was identified.  A trespass warning was issued to the subject and a report for simple assault was filed.

*11:36pm-Brownwood Police were called to the 1800 block of Dallas Street regarding a damaged vehicle.  The complainant stated that he was at a neighbor’s house and came out to find that his vehicle had been damaged.  There was damage to the interior of the vehicle and its keys had been stolen.  Suspect information was provided; however there were no arrests at the time of the report.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 50-year-old Johnathan F. Gibson of Early for Driving While Intoxicated.

*Early Police Department arrested 56-year-old James Howard Jennings of Cisco for Public Intoxication.

*Brownwood Police Department arrested 24-year-old Alisa Danyelle Morton for Driving While License Invalid.

Sunday, October 3

*1:11am-A Brownwood Police officer patrolling in the 1900 block of Austin Avenue noted a male walking northbound in the median of Austin Avenue.  The subject was identified as 19-year-old Lekurt Fisher.  Police reports state that after an investigation, Fisher was placed under arrest for Disorderly Conduct by Breech of Peace and issued a citation for Walking in Roadway and Littering.

*3:20am-Brownwood Police were called to the area of Belmeade and Holcomb regarding a woman walking and crying.  Upon arrival, the officer located the female in the 2400 block of Belmeade according to police reports.  She was identified as 36-year-old Lucy Ann Ogden.  After investigating, Ogden was placed under arrest for Public Intoxication.

*3:27am-Brownwood Police officers responded to the 3800 and 3900 blocks of Crestridge Drive in response to multiple reports of damage to lawn ornaments.  According to the report, as officers were investigating the incidents, another officer on patrol along River Oaks Drive noticed a subject at a nearby car wash hitting one of the vacuums.  The subject, identified as 24-year-old Raynaldo Maldonado, Jr., was attempting to leave the area as the officer approached.  Police reports stated that further investigation showed the vacuum was damaged and that Maldonado was suspected of damaging both vacuum and the lawn ornaments along Crestridge Drive.  Maldonado was also noted to be intoxicated.

Police reports state that the officer determined that the suspect was not burglarizing the vacuum but causing damage to vent his anger after having an argument with a family member.  He had been walking around and had admitted to drinking more than a 12-pack of beer and causing the damage in a fit of anger.

The officer informed Maldonado as he was being arrested for Criminal Mischief Class B that he was not going to be arrested for Public Intoxication, although he had admitted to excessive drinking, the officer then transported him to the Brown County Jail without further incident.

*3:55am-A Brownwood Police officer initiated a pedestrian stop on a subject, identified as 29-year-old Rollie Galvan Lopez for failing to walk on the sidewalk when one was provided police reports state.  Further investigation led to the arrest of Lopez for Public Intoxication and Possession of Marijuana, less than 2 oz.

*8:04am-Brownwood Police were called to the 3800 block of Crestridge Drive regarding criminal mischief.  The complainant stated that sometime overnight someone used a rock from the complainant’s yard to break out the back glass of the complainant’s vehicle.  Damage was also observed to the tailgate of the vehicle.  The complainant does wish to pursue charges.  A suspect has been identified.

*11:12am-Brownwood Police were called to the 3100 block of Morris Shepherd Drive regarding criminal mischief.  A window at the front of the store had been broken out; however, no sign of entry into the business.  The complainant wished to pursue charges if a suspect were to be identified.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 36-year-old Sergio Efraim Castillo for Driving While Intoxicated- 2nd and Driving While License Invalid.

All arrestees are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
