Friday, October 28
*10:53 AM – Brownwood Police were called to the 400 block of W. Commerce regarding theft. According to the report, this call led to the arrest of 21-year-old Joseph Alen Havens of Brownwood for theft of property less than $100 with previous conviction.
*A Brown County Sheriff’s deputy met with a complainant at the law enforcement center regarding a stolen license plate.
*Brown County Sheriff’s deputies were dispatched to a residence in Blanket, TX regarding an assault involving family violence with injuries. According to the report, a common-law husband and wife had gotten into an argument over a cell phone being turned off, which resulted in the wife allegedly throwing a small sauce pan at her husband, striking him in the back. The male did not have visible marks on his back or anywhere else, the report states. The incident was settled by separation and the male agreed to stay with a friend for the night.
*Brownwood Police arrested 20-year-old Juan Jose Castillo of Brownwood for possession of a controlled substance penalty group 1 less than 1 gram and driving while license invalid without financial responsibility.
Saturday, October 29
*3:08 AM – Brownwood Police made a traffic stop in the 900 block of N. Fisk Avenue. According to the report, this stop led to the arrest of 24-year-old Arthur Villarreal of Brownwood for driving while intoxicated 2nd and possession of a controlled substance penalty group 1 less than 1 gram.
*Early Police arrested 17-year-old Matthew Blake Bivins of Early, Texas on warrants related to driving under the influence – minor, violate promise to appear, speeding/43 mph in 30 mph zone, no driver’s license, and failure to appear.
*Texas Department of Public Safety arrested 46-year-old Shaunna Paige Harmes of Brownwood for driving while license invalid with previous conviction/suspension.
*Brownwood Police arrested 26-year-old Casey Douglas Simpson of May, Texas on a warrant related to motion to revoke/burglary of a building. Simpson was being held in the Brown County Jail in lieu of $7500 bond as of Monday morning.
*Early Police arrested 37-year-old Lonnie Dwayne Smith of Zephyr for public intoxication, disorderly conduct/indecent exposure and on an active warrant related to failure to appear/theft by check.
Sunday, October 30
*12:53 AM – Brownwood Police made a traffic stop in the 400 block of N. Main Street. According to the report, this stop led to the arrest of the driver, identified as 26-year-old Andrew Rey Delossantos of Brownwood, for driving while intoxicated. Delossantos was additionally charged with four counts of retaliation against public servant, and resisting arrest search or transport.
*10:00 PM – Brownwood Police made a traffic stop in the 1000 block of Carnegie Street. According to the report, this stop led to the arrest of the driver, identified as 18-year-old Kaitlin Nicole Donahoo of Brownwood, for possession of marijuana less than 2 ounces, possession of a controlled substance penalty group 3 less than 28 grams and possession of a dangerous drug.
*A Brown County Sheriff’s deputy was dispatched to a disturbance at Dollar General on north Hwy 279. According to the report, the manager requested that two subjects be criminally trespassed from the store, due to their “causing problems and disturbing the other customers.”
*Brownwood Police arrested 24-year-old Patrick Espinoza of Brownwood on a warrant related to driving while intoxicated/open alcohol container.
*A Texas Parks and Wildlife game warden arrested 25-year-old Cody Duane Frank of Brownwood on a warrant related to driving while intoxicated 2nd.
*Brownwood Police arrested 26-year-old Brandon Lee Stevens of Burton, Texas on a warrant related to credit/debit card abuse.
*Texas Department of Public Safety arrested 42-year-old Samuel James Tomme of San Angelo, Texas on a warrant related to theft of property equal or greater than $2500 less than $30,000 enhanced. Tomme was later released on $7500 bond.
Monday, October 31
*3:55 AM – Brownwood Police received a report of animal cruelty. According to the report, an investigation is ongoing.
