Monday, October 27
*Brown County Sheriff’s deputy was dispatched to an aggravated robbery at a residence on Chaparral Drive. According to the report, the complainant stated that two males and a female forced their way into his residence, assaulted him and tied him up while they stole numerous items from his residence. Possible suspects have been identified, the report states.
Wednesday, October 29
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office received a report of forgery. According to the report, the complainant stated that an order of new checks from an account with a local bank had been stolen and that she believes the checks were stolen from the mail. Bank records indicate the stolen checks are being passed and attempts have been made to use her banking information for online purchases, the report states.
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 20-year-old Amber Rene Barrow of Brownwood on a warrant related to robbery.
*Early Police arrested 29-year-old Alberto Cantu of Brownwood for driving while license invalid.*31-year-old Cory Chase McCorkle was arrested on warrants related to two counts no liability insurance and violate promise to appear.
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 44-year-old David Robles Ortega, Jr. on a warrant related to possession of child pornography. Ortega is being held in the Brown County Jail in lieu of $15,000 bond.
