Monday, October 27
*12:29 PM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to Walmart regarding theft. According to the report, the suspect allegedly stole a men’s jacket and a pair of men’s shoes. No arrest was made at the time of the report.
*11:28 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 1400 block of Austin Avenue regarding theft. According to the report, the complainant stated that a male subject had stolen rechargeable batteries from the store. A citation was issued to the suspect, the report states.
Tuesday, October 28
*5:29 AM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 1400 block of Austin Avenue regarding theft. According to the report, the suspect was located and issued a citation for theft less than $50 and issued a criminal trespass warning for the location.
*3:54 PM – Brownwood Police conducted a drug investigation in the 1400 block of Coggin Avenue which resulted in the arrest of 28-year-old Jessica Elizabeth Parsons of Brownwood and 30-year-old Shawn Lee Hickey of Blanket for the offense of manufacture/delivery of a controlled substance penalty group three less than 28 grams in a drug free zone. During the investigation, the two arrestees sold a quantity of a controlled substance to an undercover police officer, the report states. After the narcotic transaction was complete, other officers and detectives arrested Parsons and Hickey, according to the report.*6:37 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 300 block of N. Main Street regarding a hit and run accident in the parking lot of Kroger. During this call, a vehicle had been struck while parked in the lot and the suspect vehicle had left the scene, the report states.
*7:25 PM – Brownwood Police responded to the 700 block of Gifford Street regarding theft.
*8:58 PM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 400 block of W. Adams Street regarding a wanted person. According to the report, officers were advised that Lucy Ogden was at the location and had three active warrants for her arrest. Officers arrived and were unable to locate her at the complex and began driving around the area, the report states. While making another pass by the 400 block of W. Adams, a BPD officer observed Ogden standing on the sidewalk talking to a male subject and attempted to arrest her on the three warrants; however, Ogden began to resist arrest, according to the officer’s report. At the time of the arrest, Ogden was found to have a methamphetamine pipe on her person and was charged with possession of a controlled substance, resisting arrest and for the three warrants, the report states.
*11:45 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 1000 block of Lackey Street regarding harassing phone calls.
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 32-year-old Isaac Eli Alvarez of Brownwood on warrants related to surety withdrawals and failure to appear/possession of a controlled substance penalty group 1 less than 1 gram and failure to appear/tamper/fabricate physical evidence. Alvarez was being held in lieu of $50,000 bond as of Wednesday morning.
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 58-year-old Terry Diann Whisenhunt of Mullin for driving while intoxicated with previous intoxication manslaughter conviction.
