Tuesday, October 27

*4:09 PM – Brownwood Police met with a complainant at the law enforcement center regarding debit/credit card abuse.  According to the report, an unauthorized suspect (s) has made unauthorized purchases with the complainant’s credit card.

*7:40 PM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 500 block of W. Commerce regarding the forgery of a financial instrument.

*8:19 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 500 block of Main Street regarding an unwanted person.  According to the report, police located 34-year-old Shannon Floyd Bardwell of Brownwood who was determined to be intoxicated.  Bardwell was arrested for public intoxication.

*9:30 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 1100 block of 8th Street regarding an unwanted person.  According to the report, this call led to an incident of assault family violence being documented.  No arrests were made at the time of the report, according to police.

*The Brownwood City Marshal arrested 22-year-old Mackenzie Alexis Brown of LaGrange, TX on warrants related to failure to maintain financial responsibility, driving while license invalid, and failure to appear.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested Elizabeth Ann Fuentes of Brownwood on a warrant related to illegal dumping from vehicle.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 29-year-old Qwayne Delvin Jennings of Brownwood on a warrant related to failure to appear/credit card or debit card abuse.

*Brownwood Police arrested 20-year-old Jasmine Lewis of Brownwood on two Coryell County warrants related to motion to adjudicate/theft by check and speeding 85 in a 75 mph zone.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 26-year-old Roy Maldonado, Jr. of San Angelo for evading arrest or detention and on two warrants related to motion to revoke/possession of a controlled substance and motion to revoke/criminal mischief.

Wednesday, October 28

*10:00 AM – Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 38-year-old Jason Brewer after he was involved in a minor vehicle accident in the parking lot of Landmark Life Wednesday morning.  According to BCSO Captain Vance Hill, Brewer was found to be intoxicated at the time of the accident, said Hill.  During Brewer’s arrest, his vehicle was searched and a syringe which tested positive for methamphetamine along with a handgun was found inside the vehicle, Hill reported.  Brewer was charged with driving while intoxicated and unlawful carrying of a weapon.

*Brownwood Police arrested 36-year-old Leslie Ray Hastings, Jr. for aggravated sexual assault.  Hastings was being held in the Brown County Jail in lieu of a $1,000,000 bond.
