Wednesday, October 24

*Brownwood Police met with a complainant regarding a hit and run accident.  According to the report, a black passenger car driven by an older male left the scene after it struck the complainant’s vehicle.

Thursday, October 25

*12:32pm-Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 1200 block of 4th Street regarding a fight in progress.  According to the report, the responding officer arrived to find several subjects in the street in front of the residence at this location.  He observed two females, the complainant and 42-year-old Felicia Ann Linan getting up off the ground and were out of breath, the report states.  The complainant had blood on her forehead and knees and due to the evidence discovered on scene, Linan was arrested for assault causes bodily injury, the reports states.

*4:37pm-Brownwood Police were called to the area of Belle Plain regarding a reckless driver.  According to the report, multiple calls were received reporting a while Cadillac swerving into traffic.  The vehicle was located and the driver, identified as Kim Michelle Cupps was arrested for driving while intoxicated, the police report states.

*7:32pm-Brownwood Police made a traffic stop in the 2700 block of Southside Drive.  According to the report, a passenger in the vehicle was identified as 22-year-old Alexander Villarreal who had four warrants for his arrest out of the Brownwood Municipal Court.  Villarreal was arrested for failure to identify fugitive intentionally give false report and for the outstanding four warrants.

*9:07pm-Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 1800 block Houston Street regarding theft.  According to the report, two window air conditioning units were taken from the residence along with a male subject’s driver’s license.

*11:59pm-Brownwood Police made a traffic stop in the 1300 block of Austin Avenue regarding speeding.  According to the report, the Ford F-150 was traveling at 62 mph in a 40 mph zone.  This stop led to the arrest of the driver, identified as 22-year-old Dalton Deleon for driving while intoxicated, according to the report.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 29-year-old Cynthia Elizabeth Morris for Possession of Marijuana less than or equal to 2 ounces in a Drug Free Zone.
