Wednesday, October 23

*7:32 AM – Brownwood Police were called to the 500 block of W. Commerce regarding a burglary.  According to the report, a door had been damaged when entry was made into the building.

Thursday, October 24

*12:13 AM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 1000 block of W. Commerce regarding a possible domestic disturbance.  According to the report, the complainant advised that his wife had physically assaulted him by pulling his hair; however the wife denied all allegations and the pair was separated for the evening.

*7:40 AM – Brownwood Police were called to the 2400 block of Belmeade regarding the burglary of a vehicle.  According to the report, the complainant’s debit card had been stolen during the incident and later used at a local business in Brownwood.

*12:44 PM – A Brown County Sheriff’s deputy was called to a residence on County Road 105 regarding cruelty to animals.  According to the report, the animal in question was found to be a 32-year-old male horse, in failing health.  The owners were contacted and stated that they have been feeding it senior feed but that he still appears to be losing weight.  The horse was extremely thin to the point that its ribs, hip bones and spine could be seen, according to the deputy’s report.

*13:50 PM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to Wal-Mart regarding theft.  According to the report, loss prevention employees had observed a female inside the store stealing items over the last two days.  The suspect has been identified and a report filed regarding the thefts, according to police.

*2:49 PM – Brown County Sheriff’s Office received a report of alleged theft.  According to the report, the complainant stated that he was in poor health and while in and out of the hospital over the past several months, someone had taken property belonging to him.

*3:40 PM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to Wal-Mart regarding theft.  According to the report, the suspect, 19-year-old Cheryl Jane Wilson, was identified and the stolen property recovered.  Wilson was arrested and charged with enhanced theft and was issued a criminal trespass warning for the property.

*3:47 PM – Brownwood Police received a report of a hit and run in the 2500 block of Good Shepherd.  A suspect was identified and evidence collected the report states.  The incident is pending further investigation.

*10:24 PM – A Brown County Sheriff’s deputy was dispatched to the Brownwood Regional Medical Center emergency room where they met with an assault victim.  According to the report, the victim stated that she and her boyfriend had gotten into an argument at her residence in May and that he had pushed her into the bathtub causing her to hit her back on an unknown object causing her pain.

*11:30 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 1000 block of Commerce regarding a domestic disturbance.  According to the report, the property owner stated that he was having problems with a female who lived in one of the suites damaging property, excluding her residence.  The complainant stated that the female was intoxicated and went into his gated property that she was criminally trespassed from and that he wanted to pursue charges.  The female, identified as 55-year-old Mary Sue Taylor was arrested and charged with criminal trespass, the report states.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office received a report of an assault.  According to the report, the complainant stated that his girlfriend had assaulted him at his residence and received bodily injury and a broken dental partial during the assault, which he claimed was unprovoked.

*Brown County  Sheriff’s Office arrested 21-year-old Davey Lee Cox of Early on a warrant related to possession of a controlled substance penalty group 1 less than 1 gram.

*Bangs Police arrested 47-year-old James Fleming for driving while intoxicated 2nd.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 19-year-old Alexander James Cole Gordon on a warrant for theft of property greater than $500 less than $1500.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 37-year-old Jason Lamonte Johnson of Livingston Texas on a Polk County warrant for theft.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 21-year-old Caleb Keith Pittman of May for possession of marijuana less than 2 ounces.

*18-year-old Logan Lee Salyer turned himself in on a warrant for theft of property equal or greater than $50 less than $500.

*Early Police arrested 25-year-old Megan Sharp for driving while intoxicated 2nd and expired driver’s license.

Friday, October 25

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 21-year-old Patrick Henry of Ballinger for possession of  marijuana less than 2 ounces.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 26-year-old Chadly Dewayne Musick of May for possession of marijuana less than 2 ounces.
