Thursday, October 23

*5:42 AM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 1400 block of Austin Avenue regarding theft.  According to the report, a female was detained and issued a citation for theft less than $50 along with a criminal trespass warning for the location.

*11:44 AM – Brownwood Police were called to the 700 block of W. Commerce Street regarding forgery.  According to the report, this call led to the arrest of 23-year-old Rebecca Louise Salyer of Brownwood for forgery of a financial instrument.

*12:26 PM – Brownwood Police received a report of the burglary of a vehicle which occurred in the 2700 block of Southside Drive during the early morning hours.

*12:30 PM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 3400 block of Milam Drive regarding a domestic disturbance resulting in the investigation of an assault with bodily injury.

*2:18 PM – Brown County Sheriff’s deputies were dispatched to a property on County Road 232 regarding an animal complainant.  The complainant advised that some dogs had attacked and killed one of his goats, the report states.  This call led to the owner of the dog being issued a citation for unvaccinated dog.

*3:45 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 2800 block of US Hwy 377 South regarding harassment.  According to police, no arrests were made; however, a report for burglary with intent to commit assault was taken.

*6:36 PM – Brownwood Police met with a complainant at the law enforcement center regarding the theft of a motor vehicle.  According to the report, suspects have been identified.

*7:29 PM – Brownwood Police met with a complainant at the law enforcement center regarding a domestic disturbance which had occurred the day before.

*7:32 PM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 1400 block of Coggin Avenue regarding the burglary of a vehicle.  According to the report, the complainant stated that her purse was stolen from the vehicle while she was inside the store.

*11:50 PM – Brownwood Police made a traffic stop in the 700 block of Melwood for a violation.  According to the report, the driver was identified as 39-year-old October Tobie Salazar and was found to be operating the vehicle with a suspended Texas driver’s license with prior conviction for the same offense.  Salazar was arrested for driving while license invalid with previous conviction.

*Brownwood Police arrested 27-year-old Jonathan Wesley Branscum of Bangs on warrants related to driving while license invalid and violate promise to appear.

*29-year-old Alberto Cantu of Brownwood turned himself in on a warrant related to possession of a controlled substance penalty group one less than 1 gram in a drug free zone.

*Brownwood Police arrested 20-year-old Shaneese Laney Kirven of Brownwood on a Brown County warrant related to a surety withdrawal for possession of a controlled substance and a Bexar County warrant related to motion to revoke assault with bodily injury family violence.

*29-year-old Andrea Nicole Mendoza of Bangs turned herself in on a warrant related to manufacture delivery of a controlled substance.

*Brownwood Police arrested 24-year-old Chad Keith Payne of Coleman on a parole violation.

Friday, October 24

*Early Police arrested 27-year-old Tiffany Ann Bostick on a warrant related to theft.
