Wednesday, October 23

*12:38 PM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 300 block of Maple Street regarding the theft of a bicycle.  According to the report, although a possible suspect was identified, officers were unsuccessful in locating the stolen bicycle.

*12:51 PM – Brownwood Police were called to 2100 Slayden Street, Brownwood High School, regarding a runaway juvenile.  According to police, the complaint stated that her foster son ran away from BHS this date with plans of traveling to Corpus Christi.  As of the report, the juvenile had not been located.

*6:00 PM – Brown County Sheriff’s Office received a call regarding criminal mischief.  According to the report, the complainant stated that someone had attempted to enter her residence located on Sharon Street in Brownwood, between the hours of 12:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m., but were unsuccessful.  A window unit was moved in a front window and a window in the back of the residence was reported to have been cracked during the attempt to gain entry into the house, the report states.  Possible suspects were named according to the report.

*Early Police arrested 29-year-old Sarah Baker of Blanket for driving while license invalid with previous conviction.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 26-year-old Seth Evan Clark of Early on a warrant related to motion to revoke/possession of marijuana.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 25-year-old Alexander Carl Holloway on a warrant related to motion to revoke/possession of marijuana less than 2 ounces.

*Early Police arrested 33-year-old Trampus Cody Hyles of Early on a Brazoria County warrant related to motion to revoke/driving while intoxicated /1&2 with child under 15.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 23-year-old Casey Douglas Simpson of May on a warrant for driving while license invalid with previous conviction.

Thursday, October 25

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 31-year-old Gerald Richard Hurndon of Visalia, California on a warrant related to motion to adjudicate/sexual assault.  Hurndon was being held in the Brown County Jail in lieu of $50,000 bond as of Thursday morning.
