*12:19 PM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 3700 block of Austin Avenue regarding theft. According to the report, several items had been stolen from the property.
*7:49 PM – Brownwood Police responded to a residence on Slayden Street regarding an assault involving strangulation.
*8:38 PM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to a hit and run accident in the 3300 block of Stephen F. Austin. According to the report, a license plate was found at the scene and the suspect vehicle was located at a home on 13th Street. The owner of the vehicle admitted he had been operating the vehicle and a report of the incident was taken, according to police.
*45-year-old Bradley Scott Day turned himself in on a warrant related to prohibited weapon/condition of probation.
*Texas Parks and Wildlife Department game warden arrested 27-year-old Nathan Allen Robertson of May for tamper/fabricate physical evidence, possession of a controlled substance and on warrants related to motion to revoke/driving while license invalid with previous conviction (Muleshoe County) and manufacture delivery of a controlled substance penalty group 1 (Eastland County).
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 48-year-old Charles Ross Turner of Coleman on a warrant related to a surety withdrawal/possession of a controlled substance in a drug free zone.Thursday, October 22
*1:38 AM – Brownwood Police were called to the 3300 block of 2nd Street regarding an unwanted person. According to the report, an investigation revealed that 22-year-old Clayton Douglass Bounds of Brownwood had broken into a neighbor’s home and intended to take items from the residence. Bounds was still inside the home as police arrived, due to the victims being able to stall him from fleeing, the report states. Bounds was arrested for burglary of a habitation.
