Tuesday, October 21
*5:55 AM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 1400 block of Coggin Avenue, the WesTGo convenience store, regarding the burglary of a building. According to the report, a glass door was broken and approximately 18 packs of cigarettes were stolen. After an investigation, a juvenile suspect was identified and arrested, then taken to the juvenile detention center after processing, the report states.
*7:49 AM – Brownwood Police responded to the 700 block of 3rd Street regarding a hit and run accident. According to the report, the complainant stated that her City of Brownwood trash receptacle was struck and damaged.
*1:25 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 1600 block of Highland Drive regarding the burglary of a vehicle. According to the report, a purse containing the female complainant’s belongings was stolen during the incident. An iPhone, $200 in cash and various personal ID cards and credit/debit cards were stolen, the report states.
*3:36 PM – A Brown County Sheriff’s deputy was dispatched to a residence on S. Broadway Street in Blanket regarding a license plate which had possibly been stolen off of a motorcycle. According to the report, the complainant stated that when he arrived home, he observed the license plate on his motorcycle was no longer there. No suspect information was available at the time of this report.*7:00 PM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 100 block of Bowie Circle regarding the burglary of a vehicle, where several items were stolen.
*8:27 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 1500 block of Terrace Drive regarding a domestic disturbance. According to the report, the complainant stated that a subject threw a beer bottle and rocks at his vehicle breaking a tail light and leaving scratches on the vehicle’s paint.
*8:30 PM – A Brown County Sheriff’s deputy issued a male subject four criminal trespass warnings for properties located in Shamrock Shores, at each of the resident’s requests.
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 56-year-old Tommy Wayne Farris of Brownwood for possession of a controlled substance penalty group 1 less than 1 gram.
*The Brownwood City Marshal arrested 39-year-old Samuel Lynn Lockhart of Brownwood on warrants related to failure to maintain financial responsibility, no driver’s license, and expired registration.
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 30-year-old Selso Ortiz Martinez of Brownwood on an outstanding parole warrant and on charges of evading arrest with previous conviction, failure to identify fugitive.
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 33-year-old Alexis Rodriguez of Brownwood on surety withdrawals related to possession of a controlled substance and theft over $1500 less than $20,000.
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 48-year-old Raenita Lee Smith of Early for possession of a controlled substance penalty group 1 less than 1 gram.
Wednesday, October 22
*2:22 AM – Brownwood Police were called to the 1500 block of Coggin Avenue regarding an assault. According to the report, suspects have been identified and an investigation is ongoing.
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 24-year-old Ndifone Matthias Agbor of Coleman on a Tom Green County warrant related to possession of marijuana equal or greater than 4 ounces less than 5 pounds.
