Friday, October 16

*10:46 AM – Brownwood Police made a traffic stop in the 600 block of Fisk Street which led to the arrest of 26-year-old Meranda Delgadillo of Coleman for driving while license invalid with no liability insurance and on a Coleman County warrant related to unauthorized use of a motor vehicle.

*4:13 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 3700 block of Austin Avenue regarding theft.  According to the report, a juvenile male stole two energy drinks.  The juvenile was issued a citation for theft and released to his parents, the report states.

*5:03 PM – Brown County Sheriff’s investigators attempted to serve 33-year-old Rachael Ann Baker Anderson of Bangs with a Brown County felony arrest warrant for failure to appear regarding possession of a controlled substance.  According to an arrest affidavit, during the course of the warrant service, it was discovered that Anderson had fled from the house through a bedroom window.  While searching the nearby area for Anderson, the investigator saw a woman in the bedroom of a neighboring house through a bedroom window, the affidavit states.   The woman was asked to come to her front door where she was asked about Anderson and she stated that she did not personally know her and consented to a search of her home, the affidavit states.  Anderson was found hiding in the room where the woman was seen, hiding behind household items that were serving as a partition between two rooms in the house, according to the affidavit.  Anderson resisted arrest and struggled to escape the investigator’s hold, becoming combative and striking the officer in the upper lip causing it to bleed and also breaking the skin on his elbow and hand, the deputy reported.  According to the affidavit, Anderson had to be tased to gain control of her and she was arrested and charged with assault on a public servant, resisting arrest and evading arrest.  The woman who was also at the residence, was identified as 36-year-old Roberta Juanita Wright of Brownwood, and was also arrested for hindering apprehension, due to her lying to the investigator about Anderson’s presence in the house.  Anderson was being held in the Brown County Jail in lieu of bonds totaling $83,000 as of Monday morning.  Wright was released on $4,000 bond.

*6:37 PM – Brown County Sheriff’s deputy was dispatched to Flat Rock Park at Lake Brownwood regarding a person passed out on the ground.  According to the report, after the deputy spoke with the subject, identified as 32-year-old Joshua Mark Brode of San Angelo, he was arrested and charged with public intoxication.

*7:18 PM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 2100 block of Center Avenue regarding the possible violation of a protective order.  An investigation is ongoing.

*8:58 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 2600 block of Southside Drive regarding a domestic disturbance.  According to the report, both subjects involved had injuries and the incident appeared to have been mutual combat.  Further investigation revealed that both of the involved parties had active warrants for their arrests, the report states.  Both subjects, identified as 26-year-old Frances Banda of Brownwood and 33-year-old Robby Warren of Brownwood, were arrested for the active warrants, according to the report.

*Brownwood police arrested 22-year-old Ricardo Maldonado of Brownwood on warrants related to no liability insurance and violate promise to appear.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 28-year-old Chelsea Rene Mallone of Brownwood on a warrant related to theft from an elderly individual.

*Brownwood Police arrested 37-year-old Darrell Glenn Martin of Brownwood on a warrant related to theft by check greater than $20 less than $500.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 32-year-old Adrian Cole Terry of Hamilton on a warrant related to possession of marijuana.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 35-year-old Amanda Ann Watson of Brownwood for possession of a controlled substance penalty group 1 less than 1 gram.

Saturday, October 17

*12:49 AM – Brownwood Police were called to the 200 block of E. Commerce regarding a traffic accident.  An investigation led to the arrest of the driver 46-year-old Veronica Janie Hermosillo of Brownwood for driving while intoxicated.  Hermosillo declined giving a blood sample and a warrant for her blood was obtained and it was retrieved at Brownwood Regional Medical Center.

*10:29 AM – Brownwood Police received a report of the sexual assault of a child.  According to the report, a known suspect sexually assaulted an 11-year-old victim.

*5:27 PM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to an assault in the 500 block of W. Main Street involving a baseball bat.  According to the report, after all involved parties were interviewed; this call led to the arrest of 56-year-old Nelda Cox and 45-year-old Shane Cox, both of May, for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.

*Brownwood Police arrested 31-year-old Anthony Deluca of Brownwood on warrants related to driving while license invalid and failure to appear.

*Texas Department of Public Safety arrested 47-year-old Edd Fletcher of Brownwood for driving while intoxicated and possession of marijuana less than 2 ounces.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 38-year-old Michael Kristopher Stewart of Brownwood on warrants related to driving while license invalid and violate promise to appear.

Sunday, October 18

*1:30 AM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 1700 block of Indian Creek Road regarding the burglary of a coin operated machine.  According to the report, the complainant stated that a male subject had knocked over the Coke vending machine in an attempt to break into the coin container.  A suspect was identified as 40-year-old Samuel Lynn Lockhart of Brownwood, who was wearing clothing that matched the description of the suspect previously given by the complainant, the report states.  The complainant returned to the scene and positively identified Lockhart, who was then arrested for criminal mischief.  Lockhart later admitted to intentionally knocking over the Coke machine causing damage to it, the report states.

*12:02 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 400 block of W. Commerce regarding the theft of beer.  According to the report, a 30-pack and a 6-pack of beer were taken from the store.

*1:43 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 500 block of W. Commerce regarding theft.  According to the report, food items were stolen from the store.

*1:46 PM – Brownwood Police responded to the 2700 block of S. US Hwy 377 regarding criminal mischief.  According to the report, an unknown suspect entered the cemetery and burned some silk flowers.  An investigation is ongoing, the report states.

*4:13 PM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 2700 block of Morris Shephard Drive regarding a -vehicle burglary.  According to the report, a purse including bank cards and check books, personal identification and a cell phone was stolen in the incident.  No arrests had been made at the time of the report.

*4:25 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 400 block of W. Commerce regarding theft.  According to the report, household, clothing and electronic products had been stolen from the store.

*9:09 PM – A Brown County Sheriff’s deputy was dispatched to Hwy 67 regarding an intoxicated person walking in the public roadway.  According to the report, a search of the area led to the arrest of 28-year-old Daniel Lee Mendietta of Brownwood for public intoxication.

*A Brown County Sheriff’s deputy made a traffic stop on a vehicle on Hwy 183 North regarding a license plate which was not illuminated.  During the stop, the driver identified as 45-year-old Joe Stephens of Brownwood advised that he had a hydrocodone pill and a small amount of methamphetamine in the vehicle, the report states.  The narcotics were located and Stephens was arrested for possession of a controlled substance penalty group 1 equal or greater than 1 gram less than 4 grams, tampering or fabricating physical evidence and possession of a controlled substance, according to the report.

*Texas Parks and Wildlife game warden arrested 28-year-old Lillie Marie Floyd of Brownwood for possession of a controlled substance penalty group 1 less than 1 gram.

*Brownwood Police arrested 25-year-old Destinee Angela Marie Hood on a warrant related to failure to appear/criminal mischief.

*Texas Parks and Wildlife game warden arrested 25-year-old Lance Lynn Robertson of May for failure to identify fugitive/intentionally give false information/possession of a controlled substance penalty group 1 less than 1 gram and tamper/fabricate physical evidence along with warrants related to driving while license invalid, violate promise to appear, display expired license plate, and no liability insurance.  Robertson was being held in the Brown County Jail in lieu of bonds totaling $21,100 as of Monday morning.
