Friday, October 14

*7:33 PM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to a local nursing home regarding an assault.  According to the report, two residents had gotten into a physical altercation and one was taken to the Brownwood Regional Medical Center for treatments of his injuries.

*7:28 PM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 2800 block of Southside Drive regarding a domestic disturbance.  According to the report, a female was assaulted by a known male and $20 was stolen during the incident.

*A Brown County Sheriff’s deputy observed a Ford F-150 travelling south bound on the Lake Brownwood Bridge with expired registration.  According to the report, the deputy made a traffic stop on the vehicle on Hwy 279 near Goldie Lane. The deputy made contact with the driver and consent was given to search the vehicle, the report states.  A glasses case containing 2 baggies with trace amounts of methamphetamine and other drug paraphernalia were located during the search, the report states. The driver, identified as 37-year-old Martin Don Thompson of Brownwood, was subsequently arrested for possession of a controlled substance penalty group 1 less than 1 gram.

 

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office was dispatched to a home on FM 2126 regarding criminal trespass of a habitation.  According to the report, the complainant stated that the biological father of her son had entered her home without permission and took the child to his home in Brownwood.  A Brownwood police officer observed the male, with the child, enter the apartment and lock the door. Several attempts were made to get the male to come to the door, but no one came to the door or acknowledged the request to come to the door.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 29-year-old Christopher Lee Cantu of Brownwood on a warrant related to motion to adjudicate/two counts of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 19-year-old Donald Stephan Glenn of Brownwood on warrants on surety withdrawals related to three counts of burglary of a building, two counts forger of a financial instrument, credit or debit card abuse and evading arrest/detention.  Glenn was being held in the Brown County Jail in lieu of bonds totaling $37,500 as of Monday morning.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 29-year-old Sean Quentin Jackson II of Arlington, Texas on a warrant related to possession of a controlled substance penalty group 1 less than 1 gram in a drug free zone.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 40-year-old Daniel Madrid of Pecos, Texas on warrants related to indecency with child sexual contact, driving while license invalid, violate promise to appear, driving without financial responsibility and possession delivery of drug paraphernalia.  Madrid was being held in the Brown County Jail in lieu of bonds totaling $54,000 as of Monday morning.

*The Brownwood City Marshal arrested 40-year-old Damon Eudean Rayburn of Brownwood on a warrant related to criminal mischief.

*Texas Department of Public Safety arrested 47-year-old Kristi Louise Thomas of Bangs, Texas for driving while intoxicated.

Saturday, October 15

*12:08 AM – A Brown County Sheriff’s deputy made a welfare check on a subject on US 67/84 West.  According to the report, contact was made with a male subject, identified as 46-year-old Jimmy Grant Reeves of Brownwood, who was observed to be under the influence of alcohol.  Because Reeves could have caused a danger to himself or others, he was arrested for public intoxication.

*2:02 AM – Brownwood Police were called to the 300 block of Bluffview Drive regarding an unwanted person.

*5:36 AM – Brownwood Police were called to the 3400 block of Durham Avenue regarding a domestic disturbance.  According to the report, a male had assaulted a female at the residence.

*5:36 AM – Brownwood Police were to the dispatched to the 3400 block of Durham Avenue regarding a domestic disturbance.  According to the report a male subject had assaulted a female at the residence.

*4:38 PM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 300 block of Market Place Blvd. regarding a suspicious call.  According to the report, this call led to the arrest of 39-year-old Tony Lee Jones of Brownwood for resisting arrest and possession/use/inhale volatile chemical (huffing paint).

*5:55 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 1700 block of Houston Street regarding criminal mischief.  According to the report, two vehicles at the residence had been damaged.

*8:12 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 1800 block of 7th Street regarding a welfare check.

*8:28 PM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 900 block of Austin Avenue regarding a reckless driver.  According to the report, this call led to the arrest of the driver, identified as 43-year-old Jose Salazar of Brownwood, for driving while intoxicated.

*10:44 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the Brownwood Regional Medical Center emergency room regarding an aggravated assault. According to the report, the suspect had brought the victim of an assault which had occurred at another location to the emergency room.  An investigation led to the arrest of 46-year-old Richard Garza of Brownwood for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon against a date/family/house member causing serious bodily injury.  Garza was being held in the Brown County Jail in lieu of $100,000 bond as of Monday morning.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 17-year-old Manuel Castillo of Brownwood for possession of marijuana less than 2 ounces.

*Brownwood Police arrested 40-year-old Joseph Gilson of Norfolk, Virginia for failure to identify giving false/fictitious information and assault by threat family member.

*Texas Department of Public Safety arrested 18-year-old Malique Xavier Jackson of Austin, Texas for prohibited weapons, possession of marijuana less than 2 ounces and on an Austin Police warrant related to the burglary of a habitation.  Jackson was being held in the Brown County Jail in lieu of bonds totaling $28,000 as of Monday morning.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 37-year-old Rocky Gordon Martinez of Brownwood, Texas on a warrant related to failure to appear/enforcement of child support.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 19-year-old Joshua Wayne McBride of Brownwood for possession of marijuana less than 2 ounces and tamper/fabricate physical evidence with intent to impair.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 18-year-old Loren Olivia Morales of Brownwood for possession of marijuana less than 2 ounces.

*Early Police arrested 34-year-old Luis Oliden of Eagle Pass, Texas for public intoxication.

Sunday, October 16

*1:41 AM – Brownwood Police were called to the 2700 block of Greenway Drive regarding criminal mischief.  According to the report, a GMC pickup had damage to its tires, windshield wipers and front grill.  A possible suspect was identified, the report states.

*9:50 AM – Brownwood Police met a complainant at a south Brownwood residence regarding online impersonation.

*2:53 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 500 block of 7th Street regarding a noise nuisance.  According to the report, this call led to the arrest of 21-year-old Laramie Nicole Seat for disorderly conduct.

*6:21 PM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 1200 block of Avenue B regarding a domestic disturbance.  According to the report, a female was assaulted by a male relative.

*7:35 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 1600 block of Avenue E regarding criminal trespass.  According to the report, a relative was trespassing on the complainant’s property.

*Texas Department of Public Safety arrested 36-year-old Clayton Douglas and 30-year-old Fidel Rodriguez of Austin, Texas.  Douglas and Rodriguez were each charged with possession of a controlled substance penalty group 2 equal or greater than 4 grams less than 200 grams and possession of marijuana equal or greater than 5 pounds less than 50 pounds.

*Texas Department of Public Safety arrested 24-year-old Daniel Ramirez II of Odessa, Texas for driving while intoxicated blood alcohol level less than or equal to 0.15 and unlawful carrying weapon.

*Brownwood Police arrested 23-year-old Barron Jarelle Young of Wylie, Texas for theft of property and possession of marijuana less than 2 ounces.
