*2:17am – Brown County Sheriff’s deputies were called to a residence on Grand View Drive at Lake Brownwood in reference to a prowler.

According to the report, the complainant stated that male subject has been looking into her family’s home and has even pushed open a back door of the home to look inside on an occasion.  The complainant and a witness described the subject as a thin built male with short dark hair according to the officer’s report.

The complainant stated that this is not the first time this male has been seen looking into the home, and that he has happened on multiple occasions, the report states.  According to neighbors, a man who lives in the area matches the description; however, officers were not able to find him at home while they were investigating.   The complainant does wish to pursue charges, the report states.  No arrest has been made at this time.

*10:55am-Brownwood Police were called to the 300 block of N. Main Street regarding lost property.  According to the report, the complainant stated that she lost her purse in the 300 block of N. Main Street between the dates of October 13th and 14th.

*11:07am-Brownwood Police were called to the 1600 block of Avenue B regarding theft and harassment.  According to the report, the complainant stated that her ex-husband has been threatening and harassing her as well as stealing her mail.  An investigation is underway and the complainant was given contact information to report the incident with the U.S. Postal Service.

*11:09am-Brownwood Police were called to the 200 block of E. Commerce regarding theft.  According to the report, the complainant’s purse was stolen from inside her vehicle.  The incident was believed to have happened in either the 200 block of E. Commerce or on Ivanhoe Lane.

*11:24am-Brownwood Police were called to the 1700 block of Dallas Street regarding a domestic disturbance.  According to the report, the caller stated that his ex-girlfriend would not let him inside the residence to retrieve his clothing.

*12:02pm-Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 1700 block of Fort Worth Street regarding a civil matter.  According to the report, the complainant reported the theft of several personal items from a residence in the 1700 block of Dallas Street.  The report states the suspect is known.

*3:25pm-Brownwood Police were called to Wal-Mart regarding a hit and run.  According to the report, a complainant stated that her vehicle was struck while she was inside the store.
