Friday, October 9

*11:53 PM – A Brown County Sheriff’s deputy was dispatched to the 3300 block of Brook Valley Drive regarding an all-terrain vehicle accident.  The driver of the vehicle was flown by Air Evac from the scene with major injuries.

Saturday, October 10

*Early Police arrested 28-year-old Secure Cubic Robertson of Brownwood for possession of a controlled substance penalty group 3 equal or greater than 28 grams less than 200 grams, tamper/fabricate physical evidence with intent to impair, prohibited substance and possession of marijuana less than 2 ounces.

Monday, October 12

*3:23 PM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to a south Brownwood residence regarding a civil matter.  According to the report, the complainant stated her ex-husband had kidnapped their son.

Tuesday, October 13

*7:26 AM – Brownwood Police were called to the 1000 block of Vincent Street regarding a domestic disturbance.  According to the report, the complainant stated that she had been physically harmed over a period of time.   A suspect was identified, the report states.

*9:01 AM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 900 block of Sharp Street regarding theft.  According to the report, a 3000 watt generator, valued at $2,000, was stolen from a vehicle.

*10:36 AM – Brownwood Police were called to the 500 block of Center Avenue regarding criminal mischief to a vehicle.  According to the report, the rear window of a van had been shot with a pellet gun.

*10:50 AM – Brownwood Police were called to a downtown business in the 200 block of E. Baker regarding terroristic threat.

*11:49 AM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to a business in the 400 block of W. Commerce regarding theft of property.  According to the report, a citation for theft class C was issued to the suspect.

*1:09 PM – Brownwood Police responded to s restaurant in the 2300 block of US Hwy 377 S regarding a scam.  According to the report, the complainant stated that an unknown suspect had scammed the family owned restaurant out of $500.

*1:51 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 1100 block of Riverside Drive regarding harassment by phone.

*4:18 PM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to a business in the 400 block of W. Commerce regarding theft.  According to the report, this call led to the arrest of 42-year-old Mona Lisa Vasquez of Brownwood for theft equal or greater than $100 less than $750.

*5:01 PM – Brownwood Police responded to the report of an assault occurring in the lobby of the law enforcement center.  According to the report, communications personnel indicated they observed a male and female involved in a physical altercation.   As a result of this call, 35-year-old Judith H. Cervantes of Early was arrested for assault with injury family violence and was walked back to the jail.

*5:48 PM – A Brown County Sheriff’s deputy spoke with a complainant at a business in the industrial area of Brownwood who stated 50 metal lids and rings for 55 gallon drums were stolen from outside of the business.  The value of the stolen items is approximately $1,000.00, according to the report.  A possible suspect was named.

*47-year-old Eugene Raymond Butts of Brownwood turned himself in on a warrant related to driving while license invalid/failure to maintain financial responsibility.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 49-year-old Jacky Wayne Carter of Brownwood for possession of marijuana.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 37-year-old Dusty Lee Wilson of Weatherford on a warrant related to motion to adjudicate/aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
