Thursday, October 9

*9:11 PM – A Brown County Sheriff’s deputy arrested 23-year-old Dustin Michael Nichols of Brownwood for attempting to pass a forged check at the Sportsman Center in Brownwood.  Nichols has passed several forged checks at that location in the past, the report states. The forged check was from a Texas Bank account which was closed in 2009.

Friday, October 10

*3:39 PM – A Brown County Sheriff’s deputy was dispatched to a property on CR 334 in reference to a burglary of a habitation.  According to the report, the complainant stated that an unknown person(s) had forcefully entered his residence and had stolen a Samsung tablet, a television, and an iPad.  The estimated value of the items stolen was approximately $1200.00.

*Brownwood Police arrested 25-year-old Dave Barrow for filing a false report/statement to officer.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 25-year-old Casey Blackburn of Sweetwater for three municipal court warrants.

*Brownwood Police arrested 58-year-old Xan Clarke Duncan of Early for public intoxication.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 24-year-old Dustin Ryan Jowers of Brownwood on a Tom Green County warrant related to theft.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 23-year-old Mark Edward Oden on warrants related to unauthorized use of a motor vehicle and a parole violation.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 28-year-old Cesar Alberto Olguin of San Angelo on a warrant related to motion to adjudicate/possession of a controlled substance.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 21-year-old Miguel Angel Pacheco II of Brownwood on a warrant related to engage in organized criminal activity.

*Brownwood Police arrested 41-year-old Brent Phillips of Lynnhaven, Florida on Bay County warrants related to failure to appear/Grand Theft and Failure to appear/possess 10 or more forged notes.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 22-year-old Caleb Keith Pittman of Brownwood on a warrant related to motion to adjudicate/possession of marijuana less than 2 ounces.

*Brownwood Police arrested 45-year-old Mark Alexander Sanchez of Brownwood for possession of marijuana less than 2 ounces.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 30-year-old Joshua James Stovall of Early on a warrant related to two counts of assault family violence.

*The Brownwood City Marshal arrested 29-year-old Marlon Antonio Wesley of Brownwood on a warrant related to possession of drug paraphernalia.

Saturday, October 11

*Early Police arrested 19-year-old Blayne Scott Craig of Brownwood for possession of drug paraphernalia.

*Brownwood Police arrested 34-year-old Bruce Hoffman of Austin on a warrant related to a parole violation.

Sunday, October 12

*11:32 PM – A Brown County Sheriff’s deputy made a traffic stop on Early Blvd. by authority of a BCSO investigator.   According to the report, the deputy had been informed that this vehicle was possibly transporting a large amount of methamphetamine from the Dallas area.  The driver of the vehicle was identified as 28-year-old Leah Sandoval Yabut of Brownwood.  During the course of the stop, 1.0g of methamphetamine (including packaging), 4 Carisprodol 350mg tablets, and 2 blue round unidentified pills were located in Yabut’s clothing, the report states.  Yabut was arrested and charged with possession of a controlled substance penalty group 1 <1g and possession of a dangerous drug.

*A Brown County Sheriff’s deputy responded to 5100 Thunderbird Drive to a report of a possible burglary. According to the report, a complainant stated that items had been taken out of her storage shed and a possible suspect was named.

*29-year-old Isaiah James Escamilla of Brownwood turned himself in a probation violation related to unauthorized use of a motor vehicle.

*Brownwood Police arrested 20-year-old Alondra Estrada of Brownwood for driving while intoxicated.

*Brownwood Police arrested 53-year-old Elisa Perez Lopez of Brownwood on a warrant related to theft of property equal or greater than $20 less than $500 by check.

*Texas Department of Public Safety arrested 32-year-old Wesley Ryan Parker of Georgetown for delivery of marijuana 5 pounds to 50 pounds and unlawful carrying weapon.

*36-year-old Catherine Ann Patric of Brownwood on a warrant related to purchase furnish alcohol to a minor.

*Early Police arrested 64-year-old Albert Robert Perot of Brownwood for possession of a dangerous drug and possession of marijuana less than 2 ounces.

*Brownwood Police arrested 25-year-old Sheena Marie Romero of Brownwood for disorderly conduct.

*19-year-old Jonathan William Sharp of Spicewood, Texas on a warrant related to possession of a controlled substance penalty group 1 less than 1 gram.

Monday, October 13

*2:40 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 500 block of E. Commerce regarding an accident.  According to the report, one of the drivers involved, identified as 27-year-old Andrew King of Zephyr, was placed under arrest for driving while license invalid with previous convictions.

*8:05 PM – Brownwood Police made a traffic stop in the 2500 block of Waco Street.  According to the report, during the stop the driver 28-year-old Tamara Dawn Hopkins of Brownwood was found to be in possession of a controlled substance.  Hopkins was arrested for possession of a controlled substance penalty group 2-A less than 2 ounces.

*Texas Department of Public Safety arrested 24-year-old Joshua Michael Baugnon of Austin for delivery of marijuana greater than 5 pounds less than 50 pounds.

*The Brownwood City Marshal arrested 17-year-old Sarah Hernandez on a warrant related to theft.

*Early police arrested 50-year-old George Warren Kee of Brownwood on a warrant related to no seat belt.

*45-year-old Dickie Martinez of Brownwood turned himself in on a warrant related to a surety withdrawal related to inhalant paraphernalia use/possession.

*Texas Department of Public Safety arrested 37-year-old Eric Samuel Tipton of Bangs for online impersonation, stalking and obstruction or retaliation.

Tuesday, October 14

*A Brown County Sheriff’s deputy met with a complainant regarding an assault at the Allsup’s in Early.  According to the report, the deputy determined that a robbery had actually occurred, due to the fact that property that was stolen and assault occurred at the same time.   Suspects were identified.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 37-year-old Dominic Nicholas Ward of Brownwood for possession of a controlled substance penalty group 1 less than 1 gram.
