Law Enforcement arrests and reports released Thursday, October 14, 2010.

Wednesday, October 13

*10:05pm-Brownwood Police were called to the 3700 block of Savoy regarding a man firing a weapon in the air.  The report stated that a man allegedly pulled up into the apartment complex, exited a Ford pickup and fired three rounds into the air.  He then fled the scene.  The investigation of the incident led to the arrest of a man identified as 41-year-old Anthony Troy Clark who had four outstanding warrants from Hamilton, Tarrant and Azle Counties.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 44-year-old James David Petty of Rising Star for Unlawful Possession Firearm by Felon and for an outstanding warrant from Hood County.

Thursday, October 14

*Brownwood Police arrested 44-year-old Sonja Denise Gossett.  Police report that Gossett was involved in a domestic dispute that started after Gossett returned home late from an out of town trip.  According to Assistant Chief James Fuller, Gossett was determined to be the aggressor after the dispute became physical and was arrested for Assault with Injury Strangulation.

All arrestees are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
