Wednesday, October 8

*2:52 PM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 400 block of Mulberry Street, the Center for Life Resources, regarding suspicious activity.  According to the report, the complainant stated that his residence’s door was kicked in and that he was held at gunpoint while two unknown men stole his stereo.  Officers found no damage to the residence’s front door or windows, the report states.  The complainant gave officers consent to search his person, which led to the discovery of a syringe with a substance the male stated was his, “meth but that it was old,” the report states.  The male, identified as John Quick, was arrested for possession of a controlled substance penalty group 1 less than 1 ounce.

Thursday, October 9

*8:31 AM – Brownwood Police were called to the 2000 block of Avenue B regarding possible narcotics activity.  According to the report, the complainant stated that she had car trouble while she was visiting Fort Worth and offered two individuals a place to stay in exchange for assisting her.  She found narcotics in her home that did not belong to her and she wished to have the two suspects removed from the home, the report states.  Upon a search of the home, narcotics were located and this call led to the arrest of 44-year-old Tina Wilson of Dallas for the offense of tamper/fabricate physical evidence.

*10:05 AM – Brownwood Police received a call regarding found property.  The owner of the property was unable to be found and the property was secured in the police evidence room.

*3:45 PM – Brownwood Police responded to the Brownwood Apartments regarding a domestic disturbance. The manager requested that a subject who was not a tenant of the property be removed.

*3:52 PM – Brownwood Police responded to the hospital ER regarding an assault that occurred two days prior.  A suspect was identified.

*4:02 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 1600 block of Calvert Road regarding an alleged sexual assault.  An investigation is ongoing according to police.

*4:19 PM – Brownwood Police responded to the 700 block of Sharp Street regarding a suspicious person.  According to the report, this call led to the arrest of 58-year-old Xan Duncan of Early for public intoxication.

*5:27 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 1600 block of Porter Street regarding a domestic disturbance.  According to the report, the suspect had left prior to officers’ arrival.

*5:47 PM – Brownwood Police responded to the 500 block of W. Commerce regarding criminal mischief.  According to the report, the complainant stated while she and her children were in the store, an unknown subject scratched her vehicle causing damage.

*6:08 PM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to Walmart regarding theft.  According to the report, this call led to a female suspect being issued a citation for theft less than $50.

*6:22 PM – Brown County Sheriff’s Office were called to a residence on Wildwood Drive regarding a burglary that had occurred.

*8:38 PM – Brownwood Police made a pedestrian stop in the 1700 block of Avenue A.  The male subject, identified as 45-year-old Mark Alexander Sanchez of Brownwood, was found to be in possession of a usable quantity of marijuana and was subsequently arrested, the report states.

*10:03 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 1300 block of Avenue A regarding bicycle theft.  The caller advised that the bike was stolen between 6 and 10 PM from the 1600 block of Avenue K.

*A Brown County Sheriff’s deputy was dispatched to a residence on County Road 470 regarding a domestic disturbance.  According to the report, three people were involved in the disturbance, which resulted in the arrest of 22-year-old Kasey Tillery of Sweetwater on two counts of assault family violence.  An investigation determined that Tillery had assaulted 25-year-old Casey Blackburn of Sweetwater and 24-year-old Dustin Ryan Jowers of Brownwood.  Blackburn was arrested on three warrants from Early Police Department and Jowers was arrested on a Tom Green County warrant related to theft.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 34-year-old Claudia Janel Garcia of Brownwood on a warrant related to tamper/fabricate physical evidence with intent to impair.

*Brownwood Police arrested 25-year-old Kevin Houser of Fort Worth for tamper/fabricate physical evidence, possession of a controlled substance penalty group 1 less than 1 gram and disorderly conduct.

Friday, October 10

12:18 AM – Brownwood Police responded to the hospital ER regarding an assault.  According to the report, a male subject had been assaulted by another male using brass knuckles.

*2:30 AM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 1200 block of Austin Avenue regarding a stolen vehicle.  According to the report, after interviewing the complainant, officers learned that the complainant had wrecked the vehicle and lied to police about the car being stolen because he feared he would get in trouble.  The male, 25-year-old Dave Barrow, was arrested for making a false report to a police officer.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 23-year-old Dustin Michael Nichols of Brownwood for forgery.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 34-year-old Mark Edward Oden II on a warrant related to unauthorized use of a motor vehicle.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 22-year-old Caleb Keith Pittman of Brownwood on a warrant related to motion to adjudicate/possession of marijuana less than 2 ounces.
