Tuesday, October 8

*3:11 PM – Brownwood Police met with a complainant regarding the burglary of a vehicle.  According to the report, the complainant stated that she parked a vehicle at her residence in the 4300 block of Brookdale and she could not remember whether the vehicle was her new car or a rental vehicle she used before she was able to get her new vehicle.  The complainant reported that sometime between the hours of 1:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m., an unknown person entered the vehicle and removed her purse and wallet, which contained valuable identification, the report states.

*4:38 PM – Brown County Sheriff’s Office was dispatched to Frontier Motors on Hwy 279 North regarding hindering a secured creditor.  According to the report, the business wanted to pursue charges for nonpayment of an $8308.63 loan on a vehicle.

Wednesday, October 9

*8:57 AM – Brownwood police were dispatched to the 1100 block of Riverside Drive regarding theft.  According to the report, the complainant stated that his brief case was stolen from the Hampton Inn dining room.  The brief case contained an HP laptop valued at approximately $1500.

*10:47 AM – Brownwood Police made a traffic stop in the area of Bailey Street and W. Austin Avenue.  According to the report, this stop led to the driver, identified as 20-year-old Jesse Graviel Jauregui,  being arrested for driving while license invalid with previous conviction.  He was also issued a citation for not wearing a seat belt as well as a warning for not reporting the change of address on his driver’s license.

*12:45 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 700 block of Almond Street regarding unauthorized use of a motor vehicle.  According to the report, the victim stated that his vehicle was stolen while parked in the 700 block of Almond Street.  The vehicle was located in Brownwood and 56-year-old Daniel Lee Gentry was arrested for unauthorized use of a motor vehicle.

*3:10 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 600 block of N. Center Avenue regarding the burglary of a vehicle.

*9:00 PM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to Wal-Mart, 401 W. Commerce, regarding theft.  According to the report, the suspect was located in front of the Wildwood Trails Apartments in the 1500 block of Davis Lane.  After an investigation, the suspect, identified as 18-year-old Joshua Maxwell of Abilene, was arrested for theft greater than $500 less than $1500 with two prior convictions.

*12:17 PM – Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 19-year-old Dustin Scott Atkins for disorderly conduct – loud profane.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 21-year-old Ashley Nekoda Oden of Amarillo on warrants related to theft, failure to maintain financial responsibility, violate promise to appear and following too closely.

*Callahan County Sheriff’s Office arrested 22-year-old Charlie Vasquez-Delacruz of Cross Plains on a Brown County warrant related to motion to adjudicate/driving while intoxicated.

Thursday, October 10

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 40-year-old Rosario Burciaga of Coleman on warrants related to failure to appear/theft (Brown County), theft (Erath County) and failure to identify (Erath County).

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 23-year-old Edward Wayne Johnson, Jr. of Odessa on a warrant for failure to appear/ theft of services.
