Monday, September 30
*5:36 AM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 1800 block of Slayden Street, Camelot Apartments, regarding burglary of a vehicle. According to the report, the caller advised that he had observed three subjects stealing property from a vehicle. The property was recovered and returned to the owner, the report states. The incident is pending further investigation according to the officer’s report.
*8:13 AM – Brownwood Police were called to the 3400 block of Cottage Street regarding the burglary of a vehicle. According to the report, during the overnight hours of September 29 and September 30, someone burglarized the complainant’s vehicle and stole a Glock .40 caliber handgun and an iPhone 4.
*10:47 AM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 1500 block of Durham Avenue regarding the burglary of a vehicle. According to the report, the complainant stated that during the night the vehicle was burglarized and several medications were taken along with the complainant’s wallet.
*1:15 PM – Brownwood Police responded to the 2200 block of 9th Street regarding the burglary of a vehicle. According to the report, a radar detector was taken from the vehicle during the incident.*4:13 PM – A Brown County Sheriff’s deputy was dispatched to County Road 551 regarding an unwanted person. According to the report, a criminal trespass warning was issued to the individual.
*5:19 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 400 block of W. Commerce, Wal-Mart, regarding theft. According to the report, adult and juvenile subjects were detained. During an investigation, each subject was identified and issued a citation for theft and a report was forwarded to the City of Brownwood Municipal Court, the report states.
*5:32 PM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 4400 block of Brookdale regarding the burglary of a vehicle while it was parked outside of the complainant’s residence.
*5:53 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 2000 block of 9th Street regarding the burglary of a vehicle. According to the report, during the overnight hours, the complainant’s vehicle was burglarized and his wallet along with a Sirius satellite radio.
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office received a report of an assault. According to the report, the complainant stated that he was assaulted by a known male subject, while at his place of business which is located on Belle Plain.
*27-year-old Kerissa Bell of May turned herself in on a warrant related to possession of marijuana greater than 4 ounces, less than or equal to 5 pounds.
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 44-year-old Joe Richard Cadena, Jr. on a warrant related to motion to revoke/theft.
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 22-year-old Christopher Paul Hoskins of Santa Anna on three warrants related to failure to appear/driving while intoxicated, motion to revoke/theft of property, and motion to revoke/driving while intoxicated.
*27-year-old Charley Salas Ortega of Early turned himself in on a warrant related to failure to appear/motion to set aside PTD/driving while license invalid with previous convictions.
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 21-year-old Toni Alexandra Pinson on warrants related to display expired license plate and failure to maintain financial responsibility.
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 24-year-old Gerald Eli Ward II of Bangs on warrants related to motion to revoke/driving while intoxicated and motion to revoke/possession of marijuana less than 2 ounces.
Tuesday, October 1
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 23-year-old Evan Robert Campbell for driving while intoxicated.
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 23-year-old Charity Anne Wittke of Blanket for possession of marijuana less than 2 ounces.
