Monday, February 11
*2:28 PM – Brownwood Police met with a complainant regarding the burglary of a vehicle. According to the report, the complainant reported items stolen from his vehicle while it was parked in the 1500 block of Avenue C.
Tuesday, February 12
*10:16 AM – A Brownwood Police officer met with a complainant at the Law Enforcement Center regarding online solicitation of a minor. According to the report, a suspect has been identified and the investigation is ongoing.
*11:13 AM – Brownwood Police were called to the 1700 block of Main Blvd. regarding criminal mischief. According to the report, the complainant’s vehicle had been “egged” sometime during the hours between 3:00 PM on February 11th and 11:00 AM on February 12th.
*1:06 PM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 2700 block of 1st Street regarding an assault. According to the report, the incident was determined to be a verbal argument which turned into a civil standby. During the standby, drug paraphernalia was discovered in plain view inside the residence. This call led to one subject being issued a citation for possession of drug paraphernalia, the report states.*4:00 PM – A Brownwood Police officer was given a wallet which was secured into evidence at Brownwood Police Department. According to the report, the wallet was reported to have been found in the area of Academy Lanes Bowling Alley in Brownwood.
*A Brown County Sheriff’s deputy was dispatched to a burglary which had already occurred at a residence on Norwood. According to the report, the complainant stated that her laptop and some medications were stolen from the residence.
*Three Brown County jailors attempting to assist an inmate, William Jeffrey Carlisile, as he appeared to be lying on the floor having a seizure, according to reports. The inmate reached up and grabbed one of the jailers around his legs just above his knees in an attempt to knock the jailor to the ground, the report states. The two other jailers assisted helping to try to get Carlisle off of the jailor who eventually used pepper spray to get the inmate to release him, the report states. Carlisle was originally incarcerated on November 5, 2012 for burglary of a building and now faces an additional charge of assault on a public servant, the report states. The jailor who was assaulted suffered two small abrasions on his left forearm which bled freely for a short while.
*22-year-old Carrie Bloomer turned herself in on a warrant related to a probation condition, driving while intoxicated.
*20-year-old Jesse Michael Coppic turned himself in on a warrant related to possession of marijuana.
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 22-year-old Patrick Kelley Johnson on a warrant for motion to revoke related to manufacture deliver controlled substance.
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 28-year-old Melvin Lee Lewis on two warrants for motion to revoke related to delivery of a dangerous drug and delivery of a controlled substance penalty group 3 equal or greater than 28 grams and less than 200 grams.
Wednesday, February 13
*2:27 AM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 1300 block of Oakland Drive regarding criminal mischief. According to the report, the complainant’s vehicle had been damaged on the night of February 11th. No suspect is known at this time, the report states.
*27-year-old Daniel Joseph Hedgecock turned himself in on a warrant related to possession of a dangerous drug.
