Monday, February 11
*8:02 AM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 2300 block of Austin Avenue regarding the burglary of a vehicle at the Day Break community services. According to the report, an employee stated that a company pickup was burglarized, a window and rear windshield were damaged during the burglary. Items stolen included three toolboxes containing several hand tools and plumbing equipment along with a Ryobi 18 volt tool set. The total value of items stolen equal $600 and the damage to the truck was estimated at $500, the report states.
*9:06 AM – Brownwood Police were called to the 1300 block of Avenue C regarding the burglary of a vehicle. According to the report, the complainant’s vehicle was burglarized and items stolen included a giraffe print wallet along with its contents, $140.00 in cash, the complainant’s driver’s license and other identifications, a debit card, and a laptop computer, the report states. Total value of items stolen were estimated at $1060.00
*1:01 PM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 3700 block of Savoy Drive regarding theft. According to the report, the complainant stated that two DVDs, seasons 1 & 2 of the Walton’s, was stolen from his home sometime during the past week, while he was in the hospital. The stolen property was valued at $50, according to the complainant. Possible suspects were named, the report states.
*6:55 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 1600 Porter Street regarding an assault. According to the report, the complainant stated that her father made a fist with one of his hands and threatened to hit the complainant in the face.
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 48-year-old George McArthur Ledbetter of Fort Worth on a warrant for failure to appear related to assault family violence.
*Bangs Police arrested 17-year-old Cadie Melvin of Bangs for disorderly conduct.
*Early Police arrested 24-year-old Jeremiah Ramirez of Richland Springs on a warrant related to a parole violation.
*Texas Department of Public Safety arrested 34-year-old German Guadalupe Callejas Arce on a Border Patrol hold.
*The Brownwood City Marshal arrested 58-year-old Knowel Beeman, Jr. on a warrant related to public intoxication.
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 34-year-old Shannon Diane Botello of Coleman for possession of a controlled substance penalty group 1 equal or greater than 1 gram and less than 4 grams, tamper/fabricate physical evidence and driving while license invalid.
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 38-year-old Andrew Eugene Bradshaw II of Bangs on a warrant for disorderly conduct.
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 33-year-old Carolyn Foster of May on a warrant related to secure/execute document – deception.
*The Brownwood City Marshal arrested 20-year-old Destinee Angela Marie Hood on two warrants related to failure to maintain financial responsibility and failure to yield.
Tuesday, February 12
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 27-year-old Douglas Owen on two warrants for failure to appear related to possess use inhale/ingest volatile chemical.
