Lavinia Jean Gresham, 73 of Blanket, Texas, passed away Saturday, October 12, 2013, at Life Care Hospital Fort Worth, Texas. Our Mom, God’s Angel, passed from her earthly body into Heaven’s Pearly Gates, Saturday, October 12, 2013, to meet with Jesus.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Heartland Funeral Chapel. Interment will follow in Eastlawn Memorial Park. Visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at the Funeral home.
Lavinia is survived by her children, Gloria and husband Willie Hendrix, Allen and wife Connie Gresham, Billy and wife Lola Gresham, Paula and husband Sam Thompson, Gary and wife Tina Gresham, and Jerry Gresham. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren; and great-grandchildren.
Lavinia Jean Gresham was residing at Care Nursing Facility, where she was cared for by many wonderful caregivers. Lavinia Jean Gresham was a great mother and always taught her children the ways of God.
