Memorial services for Laura Elms McAtee, age 54, of Arlington, will be held at 3:00 p.m. Saturday, June 11, 2011 at the Netherton Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends from 3 to 5 p.m. Friday, June 10, at the funeral home. Mrs. McAtee passed away June 2, 2011 at her home.
Laura was born April 17, 1957 in Abilene, Texas to the late Roy Lee and Faye (Goggins) Elms. She married William McAtee on March 27, 1998 in Arlington.
Those left behind to cherish her memory are her husband, William McAtee of Arlington; children, April and Keith Morris of Grandview, Shannon and Christian Ruiz of Cleburne and Jeremiah McAtee of Arlington; brother, Ricky Elms of Brownwood; sister, Jennifer Kerby and husband, Wes, of Goldthwaite; and 11 grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents and grandson, Ethan Martin.
