Special to Brownwood News – The local Latchkey organization is hosting a Fall Festival on Saturday, November 19th from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the courtyard of the First Christian Church. In case of bad weather it will be moved inside the education wing. The Festival is free to the community, there will be donation buckets placed around the festival if attendees would like to give something to the program. The Latchkey volunteers will be selling hamburgers and hotdogs with chips and drinks for $5 per plate.
The First Christian Church will be having their annual bake sale in the fellowship hall during the festival. For questions, contact Jessica at 325-646-2138
Latchkey, a United Way organization, is an elementary school-age child care program for children of working parents. This program is designed to be a link between the home and the school.
