The deadline to buy tickets for the Brown County Big Brothers Big Sisters board’s “Wheels and Deals” fund-raiser is drawing close.
A donor who makes a $100 donation is issued a ticket that, if drawn as the last ticket at the “Deals” event Oct. 9 at the Brownwood Country Club, will win for the ticket holder his or her choice of a Dodge dual cab pickup, Ford Mustang or Chevy Equinox. Tickets are available at the Brownwood Area Chamber of Commerce; Early Chamber of Commerce; Underwood’s; Citizens National Bank; Mills County State Bank on Austin Avenue; TexasBank on Fisk; First National Bank of Baird on Austin; and Big Country Ford, Stanley Dodge and Bruner Auto Group (see Rick Newton). Employees at 3M may contact Bryan Moore and Kohler employees may contact Hugh Conn. A maximum of 750 tickets will be sold and sales will end Saturday, Oct. 9.
