The deadline to buy tickets for the Brown County Big Brothers Big Sisters board’s “Wheels and Deals” fund-raiser is drawing close.

A donor who makes a $100 donation is issued a ticket that, if drawn as the last ticket at the “Deals” event Oct. 9 at the Brownwood Country Club, will win for the ticket holder his or her choice of a Dodge dual cab pickup, Ford Mustang or Chevy Equinox.  The last 10 ticket holders, if present at the event, may sell their tickets in an auction.

Tickets are available at the Brownwood Area Chamber of Commerce; Early Chamber of Commerce; Underwood’s; Citizens National Bank; Mills County State Bank on Austin Avenue; TexasBank on Fisk; First National Bank of Baird on Austin; and Big Country Ford, Stanley Dodge and Bruner Auto Group (see Rick Newton).  Employees at 3M may contact Bryan Moore and Kohler employees may contact Hugh Conn.  A maximum of 750 tickets will be sold and sales will end Saturday, Oct. 9.
