Larry Wayne Smith, 48, of Early went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, January 9, 2013, at the Abilene Regional Medical Center. A memorial service will be held at 10 A.M. Saturday, January 12, 2013, at Calvary Baptist Church in Brownwood. Larry was born October 19, 1964, in Brownwood to Bobby and Connie Smith. He was married to Joyce Chancy in Bangs, Texas, and lived in Brownwood most of his life. Larry worked at Walmart in Brownwood for the last 5 years and was an avid Dallas Cowboys fan. He enjoyed playing video games and collecting hats and knives. Larry was a Christian who loved country music.
Those left to remember Larry’s life are his mother, Connie Smith, of Brownwood; sisters, Barbara Rector and Carol Pierson, and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
