Larry “Gramps” Orman, age 67, of Brookesmith passed away Wednesday, September 3, 2014 at his residence.
Memorial Services for “Gramps” will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, September 6, 2014 at Blaylock Funeral Home Chapel with Troy Henderson officiating. There will be a private interment.
Larry was born on August 19, 1947 in Terre Haute, Indiana to Lester and Virginia (VanHorn) Orman. He was a long longtime resident of Brookesmith. He worked as an Oil Field Diller and retired after many years.
“Gramps” is survived by his wife, Gloria Orman of Brookesmith; sister, Sissy Campbell; numerous children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. He is also survived by other close family, friends, and his 3 special dogs.He was preceded in death by his parents; two younger brothers; and his longtime companion, Lisa Haley.
