Brownwood News – First, he was out of the race for District 60.  Then, he was back in.  Now, he’s out again.  District 60 Representative, Mike Lang, filed paperwork Monday with the Hood County Republican Party Chair to run for Precinct 3 County Commissioner in Hood County in Granbury.

According to the Texas Tribune, the timing of Lang’s decision, on the last day to file, triggered a deadline extension for Republicans wishing to run for his House seat. The new deadline is 6 p.m. Dec. 16, according to the Secretary of State’s office.

There are already two other Republicans running for the District 60 seat.  They are Glenn Rogers of Graford and Kellye SoRelle of Granbury.
