Lana Faye Lewis, 71, of Brownwood, passed away Friday, May 1, 2015 at Brownwood Regional Medical Center. A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, May 9, 2015 2:00 pm at the Brownwood Retirement Village Recreation Building, 318 Bluffview Dr. Brownwood, TX.
Lana was born in Austin, TX, and at age 8 was adopted by Vernon and Lorena Lewis. She lived in Austin in her younger years and moved to Brownwood in the late 1980s. While in Brownwood she worked as a secretary for many years. Being the outgoing person that she was, Lana loved to entertain friends. In her spare time she liked to read, and watch movies.
Lana was preceded in death by both parents, brother Bob Lavern, sister Mary Kathryn Lewis, and one grandchild Steven Sullivan.
Left to Cherish her memories are daughter Lorena Eddy of Brownwood, son Lyle Eddy (Belinda) of Corpus Christi. Grandchildren Stephanie Torrez (Joe) of Brownwood, Jamie Valadez (Aaron) of North Carolina, and Katrina Garza (Aaron) of Corpus Christi. 4 great-grandchildren Isaiah Torrez, Elijah Torrez, Steven Tre Torrez, Aubrey Garza, and special friend Bob McCann of Brownwood.
