The Lake Brownwood Community Development Council will have their first fundraiser of the year, a burrito sale, at 7:00am Saturday, April 7th and Sunday April 8th at Big G’s Grocery.
“If you remember the delicious Beef Burritos that they cooked last year, well you are in luck – they’re back!,” said organizers in an email.
Burritos will be sold for $5 each and organizers encourage everyone to stop by as you travel on Hwy 279 and get enough for the whole family.
The Board of L.B.C.D.C. is working to make a difference at the Lake with ribbon cuttings, Business of the Quarter and a cleanup Hwy 279 for TX DOT’s highway program, and a monthly recycle program and more.
