Tuesday night’s matchup of the Brownwood Lady Lions vs the Bangs Lady Dragons basketball teams will have fans from both teams talking for a while. A thriller of a game went to two overtime periods with Brownwood coming out on top 53-49.
The Lady Lions made a great come from behind victory trailing Bangs for much of the first half, but kicking it into high gear late in regulation play.
The final minutes of the 4th quarter was back and forth and finished in a tie sending the game into overtime. The first overtime period had each team putting up two points each, but Brownwood pulled ahead in the second overtime to win the game.
This makes three wins in a row for the Lady Lions bringing them to a 3-2 record for the season. They will face Jim Ned next Tuesday at 6:30p.
