The Brownwood Lady Lions traveled to Lake Proctor on Monday to play at Par Country Club in the Comanche Girls Invitational. Once again, players fought wind in excess of 20 mph, but nice temperatures prevailed.
The Lady Lions shot 379 to win first place with Kinsey Colegrove winning the tournament with an 88. Makenlee Moore shot 94 to take 3rd and Courtney Munson tied for 4th with a 95.
“I am so proud of the girls, so far we have had a great year,” said Coach Laura Martin. “Five wins in seven tournaments. Next week we start District and it will be tough the teams are very strong. I am looking forward to seeing the girls shoot their personal best in District during the next three weeks.”
