Brownwood Lady Lions faced Sweetwater Tuesday in District 2-3A softball. Freshman pitcher Sydney Laws was flawless and pitched a perfect game leading the way for a 9-0 win for the Lady Lions. The Lady Lions are now 6-0 in district play.
The Brownwood Lions baseball team also took a win on Tuesday squeaking by Snyder 7-6.
The Lions improve to a 14-7-1 overall record for the season and a 4-1 record in 2-3A district play. The Lions will face Abilene Wylie on Friday in Abilene.
