The Howard Payne women’s tennis team moved to 2-2 in conference play with a 6-3 win over Texas Lutheran University at the Nabors Tennis Center Friday afternoon.
The Lady Jackets took all three doubles matches and the #1 through #3 singles to defeat Texas Lutheran 6-3.
“Our women’s team continues to improve every week and played hard today,” said head coach Sally Brown. “I am proud of them.”
Howard Payne improves to 3-8 overall and 2-2 in conference play while Texas Lutheran falls to 0-9 overall and 0-5 in ASC play.
The Lady Jackets will travel to Mary Hardin-Baylor on Saturday for an 11:00 am match.
