BrittanyRobersonThe Howard Payne University women’s basketball team lands eight players and a coach on the 2011 American Southwest Conference Women’s Basketball All-Conference and All-Division selections, the ASC office announced on Wednesday, following a vote of the league’s 15 head coaches.

Howard Payne’s third year coach, Joshua Prock, was voted ASC West Division Coach of the Year after guiding the Lady Jackets to a 21-7 overall record and conference and division titles.

All-ASC Team and First Team All-West Division
Brittany Roberson (pictured)
She was named ASC Player of the Week once and to the D3hoops.com Team of the Week once. Average a team high 14.2 points per game and a team high 104 assists (3rd in the ASC) on the season.

Second Team All-West Division
Clarissa Krum
Was second on the team in scoring with 9.2 points per game and led HPU in rebounding at 6.4 per game.

Honorable Mention All-West Division
Katy Sarem
Averaged 9.2 points per game and led the team in 3-point pct at 41%. She suffered a season ending injury with just a few games left to play.

Tiffany Warner
She led the team in three-point buckets made with 44 and has started all 28 games for HPU this season.

Sarah Pfiester
She was second on the team in blocks with 32, has 82% from the free-throw line, and has started all 28 games for the Lady Jackets.

ASC West Division All-Defensive Team
Jasmin Thomas
She has led the Lady Jackets in steals with 58, good for seventh in the ASC

ASC West Division All-Freshman Team
Tresta Donahoo
She averaged 14.9 minutes per game, scored 6.9 points per game, and dished out 44 assists.

Led the team in blocks off the bench with 47 total (7th in the ASC)
