KTAB_HarrisbroadbandKTAB-TV and KRBC-TV will be returning to Harris Broadband beginning July 1, Nexstar Abilene and Harris Broadband announced Tuesday evening.

Harris Broadband delivers more than 200 high definition and standard definition channels to thousands of customers in Brownwood. The company also offers high-speed internet as well as local and long distance phone service.

“We are excited about adding KTAB and KRBC to our channel lineup,” said Phillip Harris, Harris Broadbannd L.P. President. “KTAB and KRBC have a very talented news team and they will make a great addition to our news coverage from around the state.”

KTAB will be seen on channel 10 and KRBC will be on channel 22.

“When I visit Brownwood, I’m always asked when we’ll be back on Harris Broadband,” said Nexstar Abilene General Manager Eric Thomas. “I’m glad to have an answer. We couldn’t be happier about the opportunity to reach additional viewers in Brownwood.”

Harris Broadband viewers have been without KTAB and KRBC since 2009. At that time, Harris dropped the stations from its lineup after the two sides couldn’t reach a retransmission agreement.

Terms of the new agreement are not being made available for release.
