The Brownwood Kiwanis Club hosted their 62nd annual Pancake Supper Tuesday night at the Brownwood Coliseum. Despite the rain Tuesday, area residents gathered for a feast of pancakes and sausage in this longstanding Election Day tradition.
Those working at the event wore crazy hats and cooked from 4:30-7:30 p.m. for the hungry crowd. Local Boy Scouts helped bus tables and waited on those who needed more butter, syrup and assistance.
All money raised at the event is donated each year through the Brownwood Kiwanis Club to local charities and programs that help support the youth of the community.
The annual Pancake Supper continues to be a favorite local event, attracting huge crowds each year.
