An “Artist of the Year” reception at the Brownwood Art Center will celebrate Kit Timmins, who coordinated the recent remodel of the Art Gallery. Kit will be honored by her friends and peers at the event.
The reception is Saturday, April 14 at 6:00pm and will also serve as the official opening of the Art Center’s Spring Exhibit, a preferred event of Brownwood’s art lovers. The Silent Auction, an annual favorite, is scheduled again this year at the gathering.
The exhibit is an annual event to showcase Art Association members and their artistic creations. Artists provide a broad variety of mediums, including oil, watercolor, pastel, photography, sculpture and acrylic.

Sunday, April 15, 1:00 to 3:00pm
Monday-Friday, April 16-20, noon to 2:00pm
Thursday, April 19, 5:00pm to 7:00pm
Saturday, April 21, 10:00am to 4:00pm.
