The true “wild child”, Kevin Shane “Kilroy” Perry, age 45, of Brownwood lost his 3 year battle with cancer Friday, September 22, 2017.
Kevin was born to Danny Perry and Sheila (Frizzell) Slaughter on January 12, 1972, in Brownwood. Kevin was a lifelong resident of Brownwood. He was a carpenter by trade and also because be loved it. He enjoyed his cars and motorcycles to the fullest. Kevin loved spending time with his family and friends.
Kevin is survived by his father, Danny Perry and step-mother Lavon of Brownwood; mother, Sheila Slaughter of Brownwood; paternal grandmother, Frances Perry of Brownwood; maternal grandmother, Marjorie Frizzell of Brownwood; brother, Justin Perry and wife Lisa of Brownwood; step-brothers, Jacob Tressler of Brownwood and Joshua Tressler of Bedford; and step-grandfather, A.C. Grant of Brownwood. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, and uncles, and a host of friends.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Robert Perry; and maternal grandfather, Marvin Frizzell.
Graveside Services for Kevin will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, September 25, 2017, at Eastlawn Memorial Park with Mike Riley officiating. Visitation will be held prior to graveside service from 1:00-2:00 p.m. at Blaylock Funeral Home. Arrangements are under the direction of Blaylock Funeral Home.
