Kenneth Robertson, age 70 of Brownwood passed away Monday May 31, 2010 in Tyler, TX. Funeral services are scheduled for 10:00am Thursday June 3, 2010 at First Christian Church of Brownwood, Sterling Lentz officiating. Burial will follow in Eastlawn Memorial Park. Visitation will be held from 6:00pm until 8:00pm Wednesday June 2, 2010 at Davis-Morris Funeral Home.
Kenneth Neil Robertson was born November 2, 1939 to Curtis Ray and Audrey Robertson, in Ft. Worth, TX. He married Mary Black on November 22, 1987 in Brownwood, TX. Ken was a member of First Christian Church of Brownwood and past Exalted Ruler and Chaplin of the Elks Lodge. He was a lifelong resident of the Brown County area. Ken was an avid camper and enjoyed traveling in his R.V. He and Mary spend the winter months in the Rio Grande Valley.
Ken was a fun loving man and had a great sense of humor; he could always get a laugh. One of his favorite pastimes was playing “42”. Ken loved his family and friends dearly, especially his Scottie dog “Marti”. The family of Mr. Robertson would like to extend a special thanks to the caring staff at Trinity Mother Frances Hospital in Tyler, TX.
Mr. Robertson was preceded in death by his parents C.R. and Audrey Robertson and an infant brother.
Survivors include his wife Mary, his daughter Amy, his son Michael, his stepson Alvin, his brother Noel, his sister Carol, his 3 grandsons; Zachary, Chevy, and Wesley, and a host of other friends and relatives.
