Funeral services for Kenneth Earl Hamil, Jr., 45, of Brownwood, will be held at 2 pm on Wednesday, February 12, in the Netherton Funeral Home chapel with Pastor Brian Hall officiating. Interment will follow in Coleman City Cemetery under the direction of Netherton Funeral Home and Cremations.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 7 pm on Tuesday, February 11, at the funeral home.
Mr. Hamil passed away on Saturday, February 8, 2014, at his home in Brownwood .
Kenneth Earl Hamil, Jr., was born on September 3, 1968, to Linda Horton Gober. Throughout his life, he had worked as a professional tree trimmer. He was a lifelong resident of Brownwood and had attended Haven of Hope Church.
Those left behind to cherish his memory are his mother, Linda Gober of Brownwood; brothers, Robert “Bobby” Clinton Hamil and wife Billie, and Royce Daniel Gober and wife Wanda, all of Brownwood; and Jeffery Shane Hamil of Lovelady Texas. He is also survived by a sister, Shawna Gober and Mike Steele of Brownwood , as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, John Wayne Gober; sister, Brenda Jean Gober, brother, John Wayne Gober Jr., and a nephew, Chris Gober.
