Texas Department of Public Safety released the route of the funeral procession for Sgt. William “Karl” Keesee taking place on Tuesday and encourage the public to line the streets to show support. The procession will travel from Austin Avenue Church of Christ through Brownwood to the Pleasant Valley Cemetery for graveside services following the funeral which will take place at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 3rd.
The public is invited to line the roadway on the route to show support for Sgt. Keesee’s family, friends and fellow officers in law enforcement.
The procession will travel the following route:
Leaving the church, turn west (right) on Austin Avenue, then right on Main Street, right onto East Commerce, left on US Hwy 183N, travel 12.5 miles north, then left onto FM 2273, travel ½ mile to the Pleasant Valley Cemetery.
“We welcome the community to show support for the Keesee family, friends and brothers in law enforcement,” stated Sgt. Bryan Witt of Texas DPS in Lubbock.
