Kay Wheeless, age 42, of Bangs passed away October 6, 2011 in Springfield, Missouri.
She was born December 3, 1968 to Firl and Brenda LeMond in Brownwood, Texas. Kay married Billy Wheeless on October 17, 1992 in Bangs.
She was a long time volunteer for the Bangs First Responders and the Bangs Volunteer Fire Department; she was a member of the Bangs First Baptist Church. Kay’s favorite hobby was collecting Angels.
She is survived by her husband Billy Wheeless of Bangs, Children Mynda Holland-Lamb and husband C.J. of Bangs, Kyndra Wheeless of Bangs, and a step son James Casey Nolan Wheeless of San Antonio; her mother Brenda LeMond of Gorman, a Brother Everett LeMond of Brownwood, 4 uncles Danny Steffey of Marshfield, Mo, Donald Steffey of Brownwood, Greg McMillian and wife Ella of Voss, Aaron Lemon and wife Rita of Bangs, and Aunt Sharon Cook of San Saba.
She was preceded in death by her father Firl LeMond.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Monday October 10, 2011 in the Bangs First Baptist Church, interment will follow in the Coleman City Cemetery.
