Kathy Jean Vogel (Moody) 1946-2017
Bangs, Texas: Kathy Jean Vogel, 70, of Bangs Texas gained her heavenly wings on January 21, 2017.
Kathy was born on March 8, 1946 in Seagraves Texas to Arlin Levi Moody and Violet Vera Eanes Moody. Kathy was raised and spent her childhood in Chico Texas. On June 8, 1961 she married Billy Kyle Vogel Sr and they made their home in Bangs, Texas where they raised their family. Kathy had a loving heart and opened her heart and home to many nieces, nephews, and friends of her children throughout her life.
Kathy is survived by her children: Tammy Vogel and fiancee Larry of Rankin, Tx. Billy Vogel Jr. and wife Carey of Rankin, Tx. Sharon Petty and husband Burt of Bangs, Tx. Karen Taylor and husband Randy of Lake Brownwood, Tx. Bobby Vogel and wife Melissa of Rankin, Tx. Jerry Powell and wife Paula of Winfield, Ks. Missie Gebhardt and husband Chuck of Early, Tx. Angela Vogel of Monahans, Tx. Sisters: JoAnn Mills, Carolyn Parton, Kay Cox, Susie Light Special Friend: Tommy Edwards and 12 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.
Kathy is preceded in death by her parents Arlin and Violet, husband Billy, son Grover Wayne Vogel, brothers Bobby and Rual Moody, sister Virginia Moody, and grandson Brian Lynn Petty.

Visitation will be open to all Tuesday, January 24, 2017 at Heartland Funeral Home from 6:00-8:00pm. Graveside services will be at Bangs Cemetery on Wednesday January 25, 2017 at 2:00 pm.
