A memorial service for Kathy Sue Heshke, age 60, of Brownwood, will be held at 11:00 AM, Thursday, March 1, 2018, at Calvary Baptist Church. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 10:00 until 11:00 AM. Inurnment will follow in Greenleaf Cemetery Columbarium. Heartland Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Heshke died Sunday February 25, 2018 at her home.
Kathy Sue Carlson was born on October 30, 1957 in Galesburg, Illinois to Lloyd Paul and Joanne (Leppert) Carlson. She married Rick Heschke on January 16, 1996 in Brownwood. Kathy owned and operated The Dog House, a boarding and grooming service, since she moved to Brownwood over 35 years ago.
Kathy is survived by her husband of 22 years, Rick Heschke of Brownwood; her parents, Lloyd and Joanne Carlson of Woodhull, Illinois, her twin sister, Carol Behrendt of Polo, Illinois, sister, Nancy Willard and husband Jeff of Orion, Illinois, a brother, Bill Carlson and wife Colleen of Woodhull, Illinois and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by a brother-in-law, Phil Behrendt.
