Kalfred “Kal” Ho, age 67, of Brownwood formerly of Honolulu passed away Friday, November 11, 2016, at home with his family by his side. He was the husband of Jamie Ho; they shared 23 years of marriage together. He was also the father of Kimberlyn Ho.
A Memorial Service will be held from 3-5 p.m. Saturday, December 3, 2016, at Coggin Ave. Baptist Church with Bro. Tim Skaggs officiating. Private interment will be held at a later date in Honolulu, HI. Arrangements are under the direction of Blaylock Funeral Home.
Kal was the son of Winfred, Sr. and Jean Ho, he was born in Honolulu, HI on September 15, 1949. He served in the United States Air Force for six years. He worked in his family’s mechanic business, Hoson Inc.
His relationship with God was exemplified in his service as a deacon at Nuuanu Baptist Church in Hawaii. He loved serving as a Sunday school teacher and youth group leader as well. Kal and Jamie moved to Brownwood in 2010. Kal loved to volunteer at Victory Life Academy and attend his daughter’s school events. He was an avid fisherman and bird hunter.
Kal is survived by his wife, Jamie Ho of Brownwood; daughter, Kimberlyn Ho of Brownwood; mother, Jean Ho of Honolulu, HI; brothers and sisters, Wilfred Ho and wife Patricia, Cynthia Shiira and husband Ronald, Sharon Miyasato, and Winfred Ho, Jr. and wife Cheryl. He also leaves behind numerous nieces and nephews, and his sweet dog, Chloe.
He is preceded in death by his father, Winfred Ho, Sr. and brother, Stanford Ho.
