Justin McKane Hill, age 23, of Blanket died suddenly Sunday morning near Blanket.
Funeral services will be held at 4 PM Thursday at the Brownwood Evangelism Center in Brownwood with Pastor Ken Colegrove officiating. Burial will follow in the Rock Church Cemetery under the direction of Heartland Funeral Home of Early. Visitation will be held from 6 – 8 PM on Wednesday at the funeral home.
He was born February 4, 1987 in Comanche the son of Sterling and Mary Reynolds Hill.
He graduated from Blanket High School and attended Howard Payne University. He played football and loved to rodeo where he would often ride bulls. He had worked for Wrights Tree Service in the Midland area for awhile as a tree trimmer.
Justin was a person of few words but enjoyed writing poetry and music. His instrument of choice was the electric guitar, but would be found playing the harmonica at times. He loved fishing and camping on the Llano River. His family thanks God for the short time they had with him and will forever miss his hugs, his smile, and the blueist eyes in Texas. He will forever remain in their hearts.

He was prececed in death by his maternal grandparents, Frank and Leona Reynolds and a nephew, Sterling James Harris.
Justin also leaves behind his cherished and devoted friend “Rambo” who he rescued as an abandoned pup.
A memorial fund has been set up at American State Bank in Early for memorials in his memory.
